Emily Sims: COVID friendly because you can have your drink outside the bar on the patio. This is a sexy, custom-cocktail bar, so you tell the bar tender what you like and he’ll get inspired/creative. Appreciated that they had a very interesting local salt they were serving (with margarita-inspired drinks, for example) and they take the time to tell you the story of the ingredients. Not cheap, but my gin drink was spot on.

Ann Fratti: Probably the best bar in town, they have an extensive cocktail menu with lots of classics and signature recipes, usually keep season specials. They also have a great kitchen, with a not too known but not to be missed vegan meatball sandwich!

Melanie Salazar: This pub is right below the AirBnB we were staying at. It is a fun environment. I don’t think they had a wide menu option of alcoholic drinks. /: That was a bummer, BUT the woman serving us did put a whole table together so that our group could sit together. AND we played music on our phones out loud to dance and she didn’t mind, which I appreciated.

Zsa Jordan: So much smoke in the Guatemalan bars. Aside from that...the bartenders were attentive and made cocktails to our liking. The djs were there early setting the vibe for early party goers. The only issues we had were the cocktails were too sweet for our tastes so we bought extra shots and the bartender tried to make the adjustments and it seemed EVERY patron was smoking so we could hardly breath. We left before the party really got going, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Renz Pee: This place was the best restaurant we visited in Guatemala city. The food was good, drinks tasty and the service very attentive. We plan to return there maybe tomorrow night as it was the most interesting place we went. We had the boneless wings, the club sandwich and the bbq chicken quesadillas. I had sangria (which was delicious) and he had the absolut passion.. both were good and both were only Q40. The prices here were very reasonable... would return.
