Brian Bookhout: Friendly staff. Got to my destination.

Neal Richardson: Adequate

werner ayala: Bus to travel

ronaldo solorzano: Actually, it is no longer the Gold Line, now it is called Cristobal Colon.

Flora Jégo: Very bad. We’ve been waiting for the bus for 3 hours, so we wanted to change our tickets for the next day Because i was sick. The guy refused and said that was not his problem. Then, is the bus, the toilets were locked and water dropped on our heads. The bus was very old and dirty. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

M K: I had a great experience with my overnight transfer from Guatemala to Flores. The 2-story bus felt brand new, you could put your seat back almost vertically, and me as almost 2m tall, had the best sleep in a bus ever in the very spacious seats, even though all seats were occupied. The bus left punctual and arrived on time. What could be improved is the station: the toilets were closed and you had to go to the "basic" ones next door.

Pauline McConville: We took the overnight FDN bus from Guatemala to st. Elena / Flores earlier this month, we paid 400Q (£44) one way for the clasedeoro compartment downstairs and the seats that fold flat. On the way to Flores we were fairly pleased with the service, we got a blanket, pillow and a small paper bag containing a bottle of water, a muffin and a few sweets. The compartment was self contained and air conditioned, although the door was hard to open and had to be slammed shut, which was noisy and disruptive to other passengers. The WiFi was good, each seat had a USB charging point. The motion of the bus going around corners and slowing to go over speed bumps made it a little difficult to sleep but overall it was good. However, on the way back from Flores, there was no WiFi at all at any point during the journey, there was no explanation for this, nor any apology. When we got to Guatemala and complained about it, we were refused a refund by staff at the station in Guatemala who said we would have to take it up with the office in St. Elena, which was clearly not practical. The bathroom on the bus was not clean.

Carly Lopilato: First, I highly recommend taking the overnight bus from Guatemala City to Flores. Beside the unpleasant train station, everything else is great. After taking an over night bus from Guatemala City to Flores, I left my purse on the bus with all of my belongings. We contacted the bus station and it was hand delivered with everything in it hours later. It is hard to come across honest people, but this BUS COMPANY deserves an A++

John & Judy Banman: When you buy tickets just ensure that you get a First Class bus. We got one that rattled quite a lot, and worse - it looked and smelled like it had not been cleaned in a long time, probably months. It had AC, but the smell of mold and grime was overall.

Post Indie rock: Meh. It gets you from point A to point B. That is about it. Nothing special but nothing truly horrible. Maybe try to keep the buses a little cleaner...

Fabrisio Gomez: Now transportes "Cristobal Colón". New brand buses.

Irama Barrera: Very good transport service, safe and very reliable, I recommend it. life is short travel

Marito Pas: They do not answer. Bad service

Josue Alejandro Hernández López: Comfortable and practical transportation. In central terminals and timetables suitable for long trips. You can stay in the waiting room for a long time before the departure of your transport. You can also make unexpected changes to your return ticket, as well as leave it open at your disposal for a month. There is a cost variation in the ticket during the day to the night trip. The buses have air conditioning, a urinal toilet but not excreta, and curtains on the windows to cover them.

Mario Saguil: It is no longer called the golden line (Christopher Columbus) but it maintains the route and the good service.

aury colindres: Super Quick Thank you Maggi for you help

waltermonbea: Terrible service. The buses are not maintained. 3 buses were wrecked, including a blown tire on the way to Peten. In the end my trip was 15 hours. The driver named Carlos, was disrespectful and did not know how to handle the situation when a bus was left. This company does not know what it is doing and does not care about good service.

Carlos Alejandro Corea: Lately they are using very deteriorated buses. The bathroom door does not close and there is a bad smell. Drivers stop a lot along the way and the journey becomes too long and tiring. In terms of problem solving, they have absurd policies. For example, if for some reason you cannot travel, they charge you 70% of the cost of the ticket, which is a real problem if your budget is limited. There are positive things, of course, but these aspects must be improved.

Ricardo Palma: Terrible... the buses are very neglected and are not maintained, on the way the bus was ruined and we had to push it to start, the chargers do not work, there is no Wi-Fi.

Jorge Mario Ortiz de León: They are efficient and responsible in getting to the destination safely. The buses have the basic amenities including usb chargers.

Glen Garcia: A "First Class" bus company, although in recent years, the quality of service and transportation has declined. Trips to the border, Xela, Huehuetenango and Petén.

Julio De Leon: Very good service and very comfortable buses.

Panos Kon: Very good service and luxury buses

Wolfgang B: The driver was very professional, the ticket office also okay. In total, definitely recommendable.

Steve Miller: Their handling of luggage is professional their drivers are careful and professional …. I would give them five stars except that when we boarded the bus they searched through all out bags for any and all snacks and took them away …. They claimed that there was a rule against snacks on board.. but they did not communicate that rule before we were boarding. We along with others that day had to ride for 4 hours before we were finally able to stop and get our food back

Tim Wodzynski: It was a good place to wait , however; the toilets were in a disgusting state!!!

Stephanie Lester: The bus broke down on our way from San Salvador to San Pedro Sula. We had to wait for 3 hours for another bus. I and doing other passengers missed our connecting bus and had to stay in a hotel for the night or pay for a taxi to get to our destination. I think we should have been compensated for that.

Clay Stark: I never leave reviews but this one i have to. we finally left Guatemala city for Tapachula twi hours late. They delayed twice announcing both times that the bathroom was broken. I could hear them hammering on it. When we finally got on the road they stopped for gas and the driver seemed to be coordinating payment for about five more minutes with the attendant. I have been living in Guatemala for about four years now and am used to this kind of thing, but you exñect more from a first class bus ticket.

Dan Morin: Love the service. Very affordable and comfortable.

victor huertameza: Clean big buses cheaper than Xelabus

Elizbar Lomidze: SuperGuatemala

F Chavez: Reliable, lowest price we found, no USB on the seats so plan accordingly.

Sean Power: Great service. Drivers are very helpful. Some of the buses need to be updated

Tratamientos Esteticos Laser: Bad service never on time

Jua Yoga: Literally it was raining on my assigned seat. Dont have a usb charge, dont play music or movies.

mission damasco: The frendly service of the hedman ala, the arrival of the correct time and the pleasant facilities were all very satisfying. If you have a chace, I would like to use hedman ala.

Elisa Rodriguez: Customer service is impolite.

Lre Banks: I was impressed with how nice the area is to be central America

Ian Clark: Clean and efficient.

Leonel Barahona: Very good

kike banegas: Do not use this company, motorists report the poor condition of the buses and ignore them, super bad service, the guard who also fixes the bags is rude. Buses break down midway and take hours to fix! Do not use until they buy new units!

Beatriz Chávez Peña: No way, you have to tell the truth, I traveled from San Pedro Sula, Honduras 🇭🇳, to Guatemala City. The bus needs maintenance and changing the shock absorbers, the bathroom did not work, when giving information they say that it is 8 hours of travel and, IT WAS 11 hours!!! The one who does get the 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ is the driver, Mr. Camilo, because he drives very carefully.

Robbie Zino: I’m giving the overnight bus ride from Guatemala City 3/5. I’m only giving it that score because we arrived in once piece with all of our belongings. The bus ride was freezing! We wore two jackets, pants, wool socks, and we were still freezing. The seats were not comfortable, the bathroom was unbelievably gross, and there was no Wi-Fi or usb plugs. Lastly, we only felt safe at the bus station because we were traveling with 2 Dutch tourists who towered over everyone else. I highly recommend Christobal colon over maya de oro. For the same price you get a much safer and more enjoyable experience.

Jurgita Tamulyte-Bilinkeviciene: We took the bus from Flores to Guatemala City, paid more for VIP class tickets. Seats were great, got a blanket, snack pack and water. But let me ask you, why the hell you put A/C so strong? It was almost as cold as on the top of Acatenango. People are not fresh meat, they do not need to be transported in low temperature.

Mario Gonzalez: I know that you are planning to use this service if you are reading this, I want to let you know that if you are traveling to Guatemala and want to visit any place that thia company offers please follow my advise DO NOT BUY TICKETS HERE. Im Guatemalan and I want to let you know that this company had their buses with low maintenance and the usually get mechanical issues on the road almost every day, we had a problem going to Tikal but if you go to any other place, it would be most likely the same the bus was the most expensive one and I saw a couple of tourists from othe countries getting ff the bus in the middle of nowhere since the bus dis not wor anymore. On my way back the did the same thing the main bus crashed we spent 2 hours waiting trying to get it fixed and the they transfer us to a lower class bus that took forever to take us back to the city, when they arrived to the city they dropped us at a different station than the one we were supposed to go,in the middle of nowhere and at a dangerous zone at 11 pm, they did not care and we had to get a taxi in order to ge to our houses but the tourists people was freaking out. The bus driver said that it wasnt his problem and left. They did not give me any compensation or a simple courtesy call for the inconvenience. If you are a tourist coming from another country I wouldnt like you to have the same struggle. Please follow my advise DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE AT ALL. ASK YOUR HOTEL OR LOOK FOR A TRAVEL AGENCY THE TRIP TO TIKAL SHOULD NOT COST YOU MORE THAN $50.00 ROUND TRIP or go by plane but it may cost up to $200.00. Bad smell from the bathroom, leaking water from the roof.

Gill Humm: Good communication through Whatsapp. Driver waiting for us on arrival at GUA. Transfer to Antigua smooth and efficient.

Sally Read: We caught the 2am shuttle from Antigua to La Ceiba to catch the last ferry of the day to Utila. After an unexpected boarder closure we were about 1.5 hours delayed and on risk of missing the ferry. Our driver Malfredo was incredible and did everything in his power to get us to the ferry. We got there just in time and he ran with us pointing us in the right direction and making sure we got on the last ferry. I was so impressed with his care and attention I would definitely use this company again.

Andy Leon: Good when it goes. This seems to be the only way to get from Antigua to La Ceiba in one day with enough time to catch a ferry to the Bay Islands. We took it once and arrived as promised. However, the buses don’t always run on the days advertised. They cancelled 2 return trips in a row and for the second one, we had a confirmed reservation. They didn’t even bother to notify us and they are difficult to get ahold of. It left us stuck in La Ceiba and scrambling for alternate transport. Make sure to confirm your reservation multiple times. This shuttle is a good idea but the booking process is unprofessional and unreliable.

Susan Peattie: I was arriving late at night and needed to be confident that my transportation was going to be there. Trans-Land Shuttle communicated quickly and confirmed a change when I had given them the wrong flight number. The driver was waiting and was so helpful with my luggage and ensured the person I was staying with was there before leaving me. Would definitely use them again!

Arturo Badillo: Do a lot of laps before leaving Antigua

Randall Oviedo: the best in transportation services

Mohammad Molla: I did a full day tour in Tikal national park with my guide Cesar and he was amazing. He explained everything about the origins of the Demarion of Tikal and the people as well as the discoveries bade since the parks opening and before that time. He explained the species of animals that lived there and had much thorough knowledge of the science and astronomy/astrology of all the events occurring in the Mayan era. Cesar made sure everyone in the tour was alright and fine. He provided amazing depth of knowledge and passion for the work he does. Highly recommend him at gray line Guatemala and recommend a Tikal tour

Charles Frey: We booked tours on a sunday (when they were closed) for Monday, Tuesday ect. After booking I noticed you had to contact 48 hours before the tour, to my surprise I recieved an email sunday night with Monday pick up time. They were just great to deal with and the tour guide (Willie) was great. We asked to go off trail, he said sure, and off we went. Great experience, would highly recommend

Héctor Pérez Montiel: MY GREATEST ACKNOWLEDGMENT FOR THE PROFESSIONALISM WITH WHICH THEY TREAT THEIR CLIENTS, ESPECIALLY THE COORDINATOR OF OPERATIONS IN GUATEMALA, DORIS VILLALTA, HER EFFORT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF HER CLIENTS IS WORTH ADMIRING AND THANKING, NOT ONLY DOES SHE WORRY ABOUT RESOLVING THE UNFORESEEN AS THE THREE HOUR DELAY FROM EL SALVADOR TO CUATEMALA, BUT IN RESOLVING DOUBTS ABOUT FLIGHT TRANSFERS. PEOPLE LIKE DORIS VILLALTA ARE THE ONES NEEDED EVERYWHERE TO ACHIEVE A BETTER WORLD. A THOUSAND THANK YOU, DORIS VILLALTA, FROM YOUR SERVANT HÉCTOR PÉREZ MONTIEL, LIVING IN THE STATE OF MEXICO! MUCH PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS ALWAYS!
