Stef Stevens: On Sunday 26 of February I contracted serious food poisoning at the sports bar Strikers part of the Barcelo Hotel in Guatemala-City, I ordered a 'Canasta Guatemalteca', which tasted horrible and contained something spoiled. If it wasn’t for the receptionist of the hotel, providing me with Alka -AD (Loperamida), I would have missed my 5 AM flight. Interesting that they have Alka-AD readily available. The hotel management does not take any responsibility and denies that anything can be wrong in their restaurants. That is very disappointing and I can not recommend this place!

Moustapha Tate: I’ve had a pasta with shrimp, lemon and butter sauce and then what they would call apple pie with one scoop of vanilla ice cream.Unfortunately the sauce of the pasta wasn’t emulsified, it wasn’t thick in any way. It felt like it was mixed with oil with a slight hint of lemon on top of it.The apple pie was 90% puff pastry and the rest was few slices of apple.
Jorge Uribe: If you like "Sportbars" this is an excellent option to hang out. The atmosphere is calm and they have several screens broadcasting different sports. The service at the bar is good and fast, but my experience at the table was not good, not only did it take a long time to deliver my hamburger, but also the waitress who handed me dishes to diners who arrived after me. But other than that I would go again.

Parv Sibal: I didn’t have much expectations from this place since it’s a hotel bar. But, I was kind of sure that it is very difficult to mess up a burger. One of the worst burgers I ever ate was here. They have a decent selection of drinks but, food is not something you want to get here. Much better & cheaper options outside the hotel.

Luis Cabezas: The food is ok, but I agree with the other reviewers the worst service ever. I see around 8 waitresses not doing anything while there is one chef trying to meet the orders. It is not under staff but illogically staffed. The manager seems to need to listen to clients. My food took about one hour. I had asked a couple of times, but the 8 standing by the kitchen waitresses not doing anything kept saying it is coming out. I recommend not using this place unless that is totally necessary which is not because there are other places leaving the hotel. Just leave the hotel to eat.
Ernesto Rivero: One of the worst places I have to go. I travel a lot and sometimes I have to come to this place. The attention is bad, I say this because I have already come several times and always the same. The delay is incredible and it's not like the place is bursting with people.I ordered a draft beer and you can tell by miles that they don't clean the pipes. The beer all sour, impossible to drink. I ordered a crispy chicken hamburger...the meat to cover the hole in a tooth. The fries made in old oil, really disgusting. I do not recommend it, the place is fine, but the food and service leave much to be desired.
